The method that we will be using to calculate and interpret compatibility in this Guide is Vedic Numerology. Vedic Numerology is an ancient system of knowledge that originated from Hinduism.

This method is based on nine numbers, from 1 to 9. Each of these numbers are associated with an astrological body and a deity, who rules a certain aspect of our life. Based on your date of birth (and other numerical values derived from your name, address, and more) we can see what numbers influence your horoscope - which is a comprehensive analysis of not only the numbers themselves, but also the way these numbers influence each other.

  • You will need your birth date and time of birth to calculate the numbers we will be analyzing. The more precise you are the better, but time of birth only matters if you were born between 0:00am and 3:00 am. If you are sure that you were born outside of this time period, you are in the safe zone, and you don’t need to worry about time of birth.

  • Nothing wrong with asking directly, but if you want a workaround…

    Since the only time that matters is between 0:00 and 3:00 am, you can have a conversation about the crazy experience of having a baby in the middle of the night. Mothers, who gave birth at such a time often tell stories about it, so your partner might know more than you think.

  • In these cases you should be using their legal date of birth, as per their ID. Information that we have on our IDs is how we are identified and referred to by the whole world, it carries its own energy. It is still relevant to the horoscope, even if you were born between 0:00am to 3:00am.

    Generally speaking, your “true” date of birth helps to answer questions related to the soul, destiny, and feelings, while your legal date of birth affects work, money, and relationships that are legally binding (i.e. marriage).
